Cream Chargers

A Nangs buy cream charger is an electric cartridge or steel cylinder filled with nitrous fuel which is employed as a whip agent in a cream dispensing machine. The narrow end of such a charger has an open foil cover which is bent to release the nitrous gas from the bottle. This is normally done via a small sharp edged pin within the dispenser. The valve, which is fitted into the dispenser is designed in such a way that the valve opens automatically when the pressure reaches a certain level. The charger also allows an automatic cut off of the nitrous supply once the whip drum reaches a certain velocity.

There are two different types of charger canisters. One type is fitted with a nozzle which dispenses a steady stream of fuel (nitrous) at very high pressures, whilst still allowing some air time to pass by. The other is fitted with a tip nozzle which dispenses a finer stream of gas with higher pressures. The main advantage of the latter is that you will be able to use the same whip speed for both types, whereas in the former, one would have to start the whipping process with lower pressure in order to achieve a uniform whipping speed across the whole bowl. Such cream chargers can also work well for whipped cream and chocolate sauces too.

The two most common styles of charger are the round and rectangular ones. In some cases the round cream chargers have an adjustable lid which can be used as a dessert bowl or as an extension to the dispenser itself. These are often seen on food machines and in food preparation environments where safety is paramount. It is important to note that nitrous oxide can be extremely dangerous if used incorrectly and so it is always important to handle this chemical with care.

Rectangular cream chargers can come in different sizes. The round style is probably the most popular. In this case the motor sits on the outside of the bowl and uses a gas pressurized stream of gas to whip the heavy cream into a stream of bubbles. The main disadvantage of this design is that it can be harder to use in colder temperatures as the bubbles tend to break up when colder liquid is poured into them. This is why some restaurants and cafes have circular dispensers instead. These dispensers usually have the same style round lid but have a separate, thinner lid designed specifically for heavy cream.

The second most common style of cream chargers is the one that has a separate lid and motor. The advantage of this design is that the user can open the lid and pour the liquid straight into the glass cylinder. Although you will be able to see the contents through the glass cylinder, this style is more difficult to use as you will have to constantly watch the contents as they whip around the steel cylinder. One of the main disadvantages of this style is that the lid can sometimes be difficult to clean and some people find that the motor is quite loud. It is possible to buy separate lids that match the look of your dispenser, or to buy one that matches the design and colour of your stainless steel dispenser just to keep everything in place.

The final two most common types of canister cream chargers are the rotary and the screw-gun style. The rotary charger will usually come with three separate cans (usually aluminium cans), which you then feed the cream into with the screw gun. The screw gun style makes it easier to press the cans against each other, although this can become problematic as the liquid may spill over from the bottles at times.
